I discovered these tracks at 8:00 this morning with Ed (NZ) during our morning routine walk on the beach. We can determine from the tracks that they belong to the same female than the previous tracks. She has an injured front flipper which leaves destinctive pattern on the sand.
We recorded the location of the nest and wiped the tracks away. Hopefully in 55-65 days from now dozens of turtle hatchlings will emerge and start their journey towards the sea.
